Stiris Research Inc. Supporting Early Planning Activities for a Planned Phase III Clinical Trial in a Rare Neurodegenerative Disease

Cambridge, Massachusetts — June 1st, 2026 —

Stiris Research Inc., a clinical research organization (CRO) specializing in Phase I–IIIB clinical studies, announces that it has been awarded Phase III feasibility responsibilities for a global clinical trial evaluating an investigational therapy for a rare neurodegenerative disease.

Through a partner CRO, Stiris Research will support feasibility activities across investigative sites in the United States and Canada, contributing to the identification and engagement of sites for this Phase III program. The initiation of feasibility activities marks a key step in preparing for global study execution and ensuring the readiness of participating investigative sites.

“We have initiated feasibility for an upcoming rare neurodegenerative disease study and are looking forward to providing patients with an opportunity to participate in this clinical trial. Clinical studies can demand a lot from participants and their caregivers, and we are committed to helping them have the best experience possible,” said Shantal Feltham, President & CEO.

Neurodegenerative diseases are conditions that gradually damage and destroy parts of your nervous system, especially areas of your brain. These conditions usually develop slowly, and the effects and symptoms tend to appear later in life. Most of these conditions are strongly connected to age and are much more likely to happen in people over 65.
