Stiris Research Inc. Announces the Addition of Fernando Lasso de la Vega, MD to the Clinical Science Team.

Stiris Research (“Stiris”) an entrepreneurial clinical trial management company focused on the management of Phase I-IIIB trials, today announced the addition of Fernando Lasso de la Vega, MD as Director, Clinical Science.

Dr. Lasso de la Vega was an attending physician at several tertiary hospitals in Mexico City, prior to transitioning over to the pharmaceutical industry. He has held various roles within two large pharmaceutical companies where he managed, led teams, and provided oversight to over 150 clinical trials, from Phase I through IV.

Fernando’s Scientific, Medical and Operational expertise, coupled with his keen business acumen will allow him work with our small to midsize  pharma and biotechnology clients and provide operational input into their developing programs. Fernando’s management and oversight experience spans across the clinical trial lifecycle with extensive experience supporting studies early during development and feasibility through start-up, conduct and close-out while operationally supporting and guiding teams. Fernando has managed key strategic conversations with KOLs, sites and global study team leaders while working directly within both Latin and North America markets. His experience supporting clinical trials globally provides him with an understanding of both local requirements and challenges as well global requirements and challenges that can have an impact on sponsors, sites, and studies overall. Dr. Lasso de la Vega has extensive therapeutic experience in Oncology portfolios, Rare Disease, Neurology, Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, and Metabolism.
